Google+ Is Now Open To Serve You!!!

Google+ (also known as Google Plus… but nobody types it like that) has been in the news for so long (well, about three months) that it must be really frustrating for those who hear about it but who are not in on it. That’s because it has been an invite-only feature for the longest time.
Not anymore! Finally, Google+ is open for business and open to the public! That, plus Google has added quite a few more features on to it:
  • You can now join Hangouts via your mobile Google+ app (well, at least if you’re on Android)
  • Hangouts on Air! Create a hangout that is open for public viewing!
  • Search function (finally!) on Google Plus!
Plus, the following are on test mode but already usable:
  • Screensharing: share what’s on your screen at that moment
  • Sketchpad: for collaborative doodling sessions
  • Google Docs: now integrated with Google+ for even easier collaboration
  • Named Hangouts: create “branded” hangouts
All you need to join in is a Google account. Sign up, sign in, and you’ll have access to Google+ services. Or head on over to the Google+ portal.
